**⚠ Two things that can sink the plan:**
1. **Richardson-Bates House Museum is open Thu-Sat 1-5pm only. Your Wed 1:30pm visit falls on a CLOSED day** unless someone agreed to a special appointment. Call first.
2. NY birth/death certificates live at the CITY or town clerk where the event happened, not the County Clerk. Laura's 1973 death cert and Julie's 1959 birth cert are at the **Oswego City Clerk (13 W Oneida St)**, a separate office from your 3pm County Clerk stop. Add the city clerk call below.
